In today’s fast-paced lifestyle, fatty liver has become a common yet overlooked health concern. Whether caused by excessive fat intake, alcohol, or metabolic imbalance, fatty liver disease slowly disrupts the body’s harmony and energy flow. While modern medicine focuses on lifestyle changes and medication, Reiki healing offers a powerful, complementary, and non-invasive way to restore liver health by balancing the body’s subtle energies.
As a Reiki Master Trainer, I’ve witnessed profound healing in clients using the ancient Japanese healing art of Reiki—especially through USUI and Karuna Reiki. When combined with color therapy and distance healing symbols, Reiki becomes a complete spiritual science that touches the emotional and energetic roots of fatty liver issues.
Understanding the Liver’s Energy Imbalance
In energy healing, the liver is associated with anger, frustration, and suppressed emotions. When emotional energies are not expressed healthily, they accumulate in the liver, causing energetic blockages. Over time, this can manifest physically as Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) or even Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (AFLD).
Reiki works by channeling universal life force energy to unblock these pathways and restore vibrancy to the liver.
USUI Reiki: The Foundation of Liver Healing
USUI Reiki’s symbols act as keys to unlock stuck energies. For liver healing, I primarily use the following symbols:
- Cho Ku Rei (Power Symbol): This acts like a spotlight of divine energy. I begin every session by drawing this over the liver area to amplify energy flow.
- Sei He Ki (Emotional Healing Symbol): Emotional causes such as resentment, guilt, or suppressed anger are gently dissolved using this symbol. It brings mental-emotional balance.
- Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen (Distance Healing Symbol): Fatty liver healing doesn’t need physical presence. Through this symbol, I conduct distance Reiki sessions, sending healing vibrations across time and space directly to the client’s energy field.
Karuna Reiki: Deeper Healing of Karmic and Cellular Memory
Karuna Reiki complements USUI Reiki by offering deep karmic and cellular level healing. Some key symbols I use:
- Zonar: Excellent for healing cellular memory and past-life trauma stored in the liver. Many fatty liver cases are linked to long-standing unresolved karmas and generational issues.
- Halu: Clears negative patterns and brings in higher protection while detoxifying the liver’s energy field.
- Harth: A heart-centered symbol used for deep emotional release and forgiveness, crucial in healing emotional stagnation that burdens the liver.
Color Therapy and the Liver
Colors play an essential role in energy healing. The liver resonates with the color Green, which is linked to renewal, detoxification, and growth.
In my Reiki sessions, I visualize a bright green healing light bathing the liver area, gently dissolving toxins and emotional residues. I also use:
- Violet light (for spiritual transmutation)
- Golden light (for empowerment and rejuvenation)
Clients are often encouraged to meditate with green crystals like Aventurine or Emerald and to wear green clothes to enhance vibrational healing.
Distance Healing for Fatty Liver
For clients who cannot come physically, distance Reiki is just as effective. Using Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, I set up a healing grid and send Reiki daily at a chosen time.
In advanced sessions, I also use a crystal grid with Karuna symbols charged and aligned to the client’s liver chakra (Solar Plexus and Heart Chakra) for continuous healing.

Reiki healing is gentle, powerful, and holistic. Fatty liver is not just a physical ailment—it is a message from the body asking us to rebalance our life, emotions, and spirit.
With the right combination of Reiki symbols, color therapy, and consistent energy work, healing is not just possible—it is inevitable.
